U.S. Patent No. 522014


This is the Hunzinger patent for the game table. Patent granted on: June 26, 1894.

  1. I have this table. It was my grandmother's, bought from a cousin during the depression, handed down to my mother, then to me. You can still hear pennies moving between the sides when the table is turned that I slid inside when my mother hosted poker-ke-no games in the late 50's and early
    60's. It was in constant use until given to me about 10 years ago, and is now used only rarely. The legs that hold the latches have spread slightly and the table will flip if too much pressure is placed above either latch.
