This one is amazing. I was going to say it rocks, but that wouldn't fit its dignity. To my eye the green leather enhances the design nicely. I love this blog, by the way. The galleries are superb.

Typo noticed: Hunzinger was a 19th century furniture maker, not an 18th century, as stated in the intro.
Was he one of the original Steampunkers? Definitely a member of the Industrial Age's Cult of the Machine.

I have this one. The label says1882. What would this one be worth?

@Anonymous,
A Hunzinger Rocker listed on eBay today, starting at $900. In my experience, it depends a lot on the condition of your rocker, but one in very good condition might go for $1500, and one that is in very poor condition may go for $150. Feel free to send me a picture!
Cheers!
