Not a Hunzinger!
The Rare Victorian website (awesome) has an article up on the proper identification of some spiral legged furniture that is frequently claimed to be Hunzinger, but which is actually produced by the Merklen brothers. It is a great article with a handful of Hunzinger pictures. Definitly check it out.

If you are seriously considering investing in antiques as a source of profit then you really should do your research. This can be considered the same as rustic living room furniture sometimes. Formal living room furniture seems to be the perfect furniture for a museum or a dusty millionaire’s mansion, but there are still houses built and decorated in the old-time manner and style.
